HSAC is pleased to announce that long-time member Enikő M. Basa was honored with a Knight’s Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit (Magyar Érdemrend lovagkeresztje) on March 15, 2020. The medal was granted in recognition of her many years championing Hungarian studies.
Founded in 1991, the Knight’s Cross is awarded annually “in recognition of outstanding, exemplary activity in the service of the nation, in fostering the development of the country, in promoting the interests of the homeland, and in enriching universal human values”.
