Basa was honored with a Knight\u2019s Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit (Magyar \u00c9rdemrend lovagkeresztje) on March 15, 2020. The medal was granted in recognition of her many years championing Hungarian studies.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 1991, the Knight\u2019s Cross is awarded annually \u201cin recognition of outstanding, exemplary activity in the service of the nation, in fostering the development of the country, in promoting the interests of the homeland, and in enriching universal human values\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations Enik\u0151 on this well-deserved honour.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HSAC is pleased to announce that long-time member Enik\u0151 M.
